Silently open and close the lid with a simple squeeze of your hand, thanks to the active sensor that ensures it won't open unintentionally. Press the open button to keep the lid in place, with an automatic closure after 5 seconds when activated by the sensor. The design boasts high performance and low power consumption, allowing for up to 15,000 continuous openings and closings.

The plastic hold (liner ring) securely fastens trash bags in place, and the lid is powered by 6 AA alkaline batteries (sold separately). The digital panel operates automatically with the sensor, and touch buttons on each side allow for manual control. A blue LED display indicates when the lid is closed, while a fingerpoint roof makes for easy cleaning and maintains hygiene.

The sensor's on-off switch helps conserve battery life when not in use for extended periods. EKO's innovative spring and hinge system, controlled by a motor and equipped with a magnetic reset system, ensures durability and long-lasting performance. The rectangular shape fits snugly against furniture, with testing indicating durability through 15,000 cycles.

The blue LED indicator signals when the lid is closed, and the soft closure feature enhances convenience. An active sensor operates at palm height, with a dedicated liner ring accommodating 10.9 gallons (45 liters) of waste. Replacing the garbage bag is hassle-free, simply remove the lid and attach it to the liner ring.
