This sleek oval trash can is fingerprint-resistant and can be used in various locations such as the kitchen, office break room, cafeteria, restaurant, and other recycling areas. It features the most advanced sensor technology found in all Ninestars trash cans.

By simply passing your hand or debris within ten inches or a 130° angle from the infrared sensor, the lid will automatically open. It will stay open as long as debris or your hand remains within the sensor's range. After three seconds of moving your hand away, the lid will close automatically. The power of the sensor can last up to 6 months with normal daily usage.

The trash can also includes a garbage bag ring to keep the trash bag hidden for a clean appearance and a non-skid base to protect your flooring from scuff marks. It has a dual compartment with a 7.9-gallon capacity on one side and a 5.3-gallon capacity on the other, totaling a capacity of 13.2 gallons.

Other features of this innovative trash can include hands-free lid opening with a wave of the hand, advanced infrared technology to preserve battery life, and a removable liner ring to securely hold the trash bag in place.
