By placing your hand within 7.9 inches (20 cm) of the sensor, the lid will open and close smoothly. The LED display indicates when the lid is closed, and the digital panel can also be operated manually using touch buttons on each side. The operation of this trash can is as quiet as a library, emitting 40 dB to 50 dB of sound.

Powered by four AA alkaline batteries (not included), this trash can comes with a 1-year warranty for free repairs within the first year of purchase. The warranty does not cover support for parallel import or OEM products from EKO Japan.

Featuring a blue LED indicator for timing before the lid closes, this trash can includes a sensor that only activates when a hand is near its palm-activated sensor. Made of easy-to-clean plastic, the trash can is designed for simple removal and replacement of garbage bags with an inner ring.
